Batty’s Bath is a Canadian company that makes organic skincare, soaps, hair products, and more. I was originally interested in their organic deodorant (because so many of my deodorants are irritating/full of junk), so I decided to surf around the shop a bit. I ended up purchasing the natural deodorant in the scent raspberry, some redness relief gel, and a small dead sea mud mask. As you can see in the photo I was gifted with a tiny gingerbread man soap for ordering in November- he is so cute and small and I almost don’t want to use him! But I will. Clean, gingerbread hands here I come.
The dead sea mud mask comes in a nice little glass pot. Probably just the right size for something I won’t use too often. I’ve only used it once on a few problem spots and it definitely seemed to calm the areas and dry out more oily areas. I adore the packaging and color palette for all of Batty’s things, but especially this tiny little jar that looks like it belongs in an apothecary.
Out of all of the products I think the redness relief gel is my favorite! It doubles as a moisturizer and really helps calm redness and fades acne scarring. I’ve been using it almost every day for about two weeks now and I love the soothing feeling it gives. It’s great for me because I don’t have a lot of acne but I do have lots of discoloration and light scarring. It also smells “witch-y”, very herbal and dark.
This deodorant was more expensive than I might have hoped but it doesn’t irritate my skin at all- which is a huge plus! It doesn’t exactly smell like raspberry, sort of vaguely fruity, but I’m okay with that. I’m just trying to avoid smelling gross- haha! During winter, oddly enough, is when I need this the most. I think it’s because I’m wrapped up in layer upon layer even when I’m inside. Overall this product was pretty decent, especially if you get it on right after the shower. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and smells nice.
Overall the packaging of the products was beautiful, they shipped on time and arrived quite quickly, and the products themselves do work. Their shop is closed for the winter but feel free to scout products anyway! Also- they do offer skincare advice, so if you’re having troubles definitely take a look at their main page, which has explanations of what to do with different types of skin.
